Because I was able to customize the dashboard to fit what my team needed to see, including task completion, individual workloads, deadlines, etc., all into one screen. If I had gotten home from a late night at work right now, I would be able to pull up Wrike and tell you what state each of our active projects are in by only clicking two times. Like really a lot – permissions, workflow, custom fields… Someone has to take ownership of setting all of these up or quickly it will become disorganized. Small complaint: Going back to a previously viewed page is clunky. You sort of lose your spot and end up with multiple tabs opened to access different projects. > > Everything is now housed within Wrike, when a project begins to fall behind or a workload is becoming unbalanced, we are able to identify it prior to it becoming a major issue. Prior to using wrike, our status updates were spread across many e-mails and spreadsheets. With all of those places to look there was no easy way to get the current project status from most employees (with some digging through old e-mail) and it would take a manager/lead approximately 10 minutes to get the project status from anyone. Automations have been great as well. > > **Puntos en contra**: Learning curve: the learning curve is very steep, and wrike does not warn users ahead of time about how much of a challenge building their boards will be. In order to give all of your employees the ability to create their own boards, you ultimately end up with 5-6 boards that are doing similar processes, but with slightly different column names, making it difficult for users to compare data across multiple boards. Users can view information and make comments, but users cannot access the features needed for creating or editing automations or formula columns. It is difficult for users to understand when they are approaching the limit prior to exceeding it. > > Prior to implementing wrike, no employee could see what other employees were working on unless they physically asked. This resulted in dropped projects frequently due to absence of a supervisor. Furthermore, the number of times managers had to coordinate reassignment of tasks was greatly reduced. When a project status changes in the system, it will automatically ping the correct employee/project lead so they don't have to wait for an email or a phone call to find out the new status.
