As a user becomes more advanced, MyCase offers training and tutorials, and has a plethora of add-ons available, allowing a user to really customize the program to their needs. For me, the most valued features are the ability to accept online payments, the communication and notes features, the time tracking and billing features, and the leads tracking. > > **Puntos en contra**: The email integration is not seamless. I wish that there was a way for emails send to/from a connected email to automatically synch with any client who has a matching registered email address. Additionally, my rate has consistently gone up; I don't use a lot of the add-on features that are the justification for the price increases. > > I rave about MyCase anytime a colleague asks my opinion. They require accounting “onboarding” which is two steps, not the one step they promise, and each appointment takes a week to schedule (they only do those on Tuesdays and Thursdays, according to their calendar system). Sometimes small firms like myself have short term employees or turnover, so having to pay thousands of dollars up front and its non-refundable is really hard to manage. I've lost thousands of dollars due to this issue. > > Overall, its been a great experience. It gets the job done. Its not the top of the market in that it does not have the robust items for a personal injury or employment law case, it allows for contingency but doesn't actually have any functionality built in for contingency cases. But for the basic case management needs, it works well enough.
