We were able to consolidate membership, event, fundraising, and accounting data with the assistance of Neon's centralized database. The fact that we can generate almost any report has greatly increased the value of this information in helping us achieve our aims and ambitions.

I enjoy making reports and filling out forms. Adapting an existing form to my requirements and developing a report to go along with it. It's incredible how many tools are available. Despite working with a CRM consultant, I can use various resources to find things out.

While the steps may not always be obvious, any questions you have can be answered by visiting the Help Center or chatting with a representative. Filtering reports requires some practice, but the power to make personalized reports more than makes up for it.

It was definitely a learning curve and took a while to get up to speed, but now that we've had it for a couple of years, it's great! The best part is that Neon rolls out changes/updates/upgrades every single month. Honestly, converting from a much more expensive and complicated CRM, I didn't expect or hope for much but I have come to really like it.

I love the endless options for system letters and emails that allows us to customize receipts, thank you letters, pledge reminders etc.
Puntos en contra
I wish any and every field was reportable. I find I can't always get exactly the report I'd like to see.

Neon Fundraiser is platform for non-profits peer fundraising. Neon Fundraise sucks!
Setting up peer fundraiser is challenging, not intuitive and cumbersome. Links did not work consistently, page went down for several days. Since that point I am now unable to log in to my fundraising page having attempted on three different devices, different browsers and the standard delete cache, reboot I even changed the password. What I like most about Neon CRM is not a damn thing!

Inconsistent, unreliable, inaccessible and cumbersome for both fundraiser and potential donors. Due to challenges I am $2000 below my fundraising goal and continue to receive complaints from potential donors. What I like least about Neon CRM is everything!

Great! It a huge plus having all the things you need live in one environment and most of our staff is ok with technology but not pros and it's easy to use.

It's easy to use even for non-tech people. We just purchased volunteer management and haven't used it, but there's a huge plus for having fundraising, events and volunteer in one place

The support can be lacking and the cost is high. They have great introductory rates, but for a small-to meduim non-profit can be cost prohibitive

Expect to spend some time onboarding and learning the system; don’t assume everything will be immediately obvious.
Please take advantage of Neon’s support and training resources (like their help docs, webinars, or onboarding team). Those are super helpful.
Budget extra time early on for workflow setup, especially to design the custom views or reports you actually need.

Neon One CRM is a powerful tool with a lot of functionality packed in, especially strong for managing constituent data, donations, and engagement in a nonprofit context. What really stood out to me was their customer support: whenever I ran into something confusing or needed help figuring things out, their team was responsive, patient, and very knowledgeable. That level of support made a big difference in getting the most out of the system.

My main gripe is that the system is not the most intuitive. There’s a definite learning curve: features aren’t always where you'd expect them, and workflows can feel a little fragmented. It sometimes takes a fair bit of exploration (or help from support) to figure out how to do even simple tasks. For new users or people who don’t spend a ton of time in the CRM, it can be challenging to navigate.
