DaVinci Resolve is a video editing software that helps editors, colorists, and VFX artists collaborate on post-production processes, such as 8K editing, visual effects insertion, color correction, and audio editing for feature films, television shows, and commercials. The source tape tool lets staff members review, select, and add shots from multiple clips into a single tape.
DaVinci Resolve includes built-in tools, which allows employees to manage processes related to picture-in-picture effects, clip retiming, stabilization, and dynamic zooming. With the facial recognition module, team members can automatically detect faces in video clips and create bins or folders based on specific individuals. It lets video editors copy and paste attributes, such as color grades, windows, plug-ins, and tracking effects across multiple nodes. It also enables designers to organize grades by using gallery sorting, hover scrubbing, match reference wiping, and timeline wiping tools.
DaVinci lets team members collaborate on tasks remotely, access comments, and synchronize annotations via third-party integration with Frame.io. It also lets supervisors render, export, and share created video footages across external platforms, such as YouTube and Vimeo.

Es robusto, completo, puedes editar todos los aspectos de video, luz, contrastes, colores, escenas, máscaras, todo absolutamente todo puedes corregir con este software.
Su poder de procesamiento de video es sin igual, su interface es muy amigable y es tan completo que no necesitas plugins de terceros.
Sus correcciones de audio y edición de audio son completisimas haciendo que no necesites un software especializado de audio.
Puntos en contra
Es muy robusto por ello necesitas un equipo con muchos regursos gráficos, ram y HDD.

He estado usando davinci resolve suficiente tiempo como para decir que estoy muy contento con él. Es un software para todas mis necesidades de edición de video. Estoy muy impresionado por su velocidad, capacidad de respuesta y asombrosas selecciones de pistas. Un gran software que recomendaría a cualquiera de mis amigos. Eso si se requiere un pc potente para un buen funcionamiento

No tiene desventajas, solo lo complicado al principio de entender su funcionamiento

Overall I really like this editing software because it is easy to use it and it gives you a very high quality end-product. Also, the workflow is quite fast and smooth.

I strongly believe that DaVinci Resolve is the best partially-free editing software out there for the following reasons:
1) It has many free features.
2) There is no watermark on the export of the video.
3) Nice environment to work and and edit your videos.
4) Cool transitions.
5) Supports many formats of materials.
6) It has a one-time payment to buy the full program and is quite cheap.
7) Easy to learn it and many more.

The only think that I liked the least about this program is that when you hover over some Pro features with your mouse, a window will pop-up that says that this is the limit of free version and you have to buy the full version so that you can access this feature.

The learning curve was a bit too steep for me as I needed to start producing right away. The features were also way more than I need at the moment. Getting the audio to sound rich was hard for me.

I started using DaVinci Resolve because I was starting to run out of space on my hard drive due to the storage being taken up by the software I was using and the size of the files they were creating. When I started using DaVinci Resolve I realized that I couldn't put it down again, and although I occasionally go back to using some software that I used in the past, it is true that DaVinci is superior in many aspects, and no, I am not exaggerating. It's easy to use, easy to implement and very, VERY cheap if you want to use the studio version, because yes, on top of everything, DaVinci has a very complete version that is FREE

In davinci resolve it's much easier for me to implement all the functions that I need to edit or create a video.
For example, whereas before I needed to "process" my video into montage, editing, colorization, and special effects creation using different programs, with DaVinci Resolve it's as easy as flicking from one tab to another.
Not long ago I made a 3D title in DaVinci 50% faster than I did using 3 or more programs.

To be honest, DaVinci is very close to being perfect, seriously, it even seems like such an unreal program because of the number of functions it implements.
Perhaps sometimes this software is limited since it implements functions that should be dealt with one software at a time, but with time and discipline it's possible to perfectly master the virtues and the few defects that may arise.
