Starting a timer, logging hours manually, switching between projects, none of it requires figuring anything out. The free tier is genuinely usable which is rare, most tools gut the free version to the point where it is just a trial. Reports are clean and give you a clear picture of where time is going across projects and team members without needing to dig around. > > **Puntos en contra**: The deeper you go the more you notice the rough edges. Editing time entries in bulk is clunkier than it should be and the project structure can get hard to manage once you have a lot of clients and tasks stacked up. The integrations work but feel bolted on rather than native. Some of the more useful reporting features are behind the paid plan which is fair but the jump in functionality between tiers is not always proportional to the price jump. > > It was the first time tracking tool that the team actually stuck with. Previous attempts with other tools failed because the friction of logging time was higher than the benefit felt. Clockify flipped that. It stays out of the way and just captures what you need. The time tracking plugins are awesome especially for busy teams that would rather spend time building functionality than recording their time. The customer support provided by Cake team is top notch. Need the ability to route the approval to either a Team Manager or Project Manager (should be configurable when setting up the project).
