I came from a paper copy company to a service box company, the learning curve wasnt too stessful or time consuming; over a few weeks became very fluent in all aspects of it. Workorders, employees are able to take photos and attach, checkin and outs are addressed, material used. All information is applied and stored in the workorder. We can schedule workers daily, or future time and dates so they know as soon as they are scheduled. The app is easy to learn as it usually only takes a few hours to go over and figure out what information goes where. Quotes can be converted to workorders then to an invoice, and you don't have to manually add anything. This really help save time for all employees Timesheets are easy available for employees. Service Box works well with both Sage Software and Quickbooks. > > **Puntos en contra**: At this time I do not have anything to address that we least like. If we have any issues on the app they get back to us and help fix anything. > > Service Box is great, it has everything you need for a daily day of work. If we have any issues we send a ticket in and we get a response the same day. The team is really great and very helpful on resolving any issues. Service Box works well with Sage Accounting when syncing invoices instead of manually inputting into Sage, all we have to do is sync . Once Again it saves times for all employees. The ability to log and record and track work notes, hours, parts, to identify and differentiate between customers, job sites, units. To have all employees connected to a single network. > > **Puntos en contra**: Overall usability is lacking. The flow and layout is often archaic and difficult. Confusing multiple options, unclear processes to find and access info you need or poor navigation render the app very user unfriendly. Very simple quality of life fixes like sorting units alphabetically go unaddressed for years. The company seems to cater more to the back end users dealing with accounting aspects than streamlining the app for the techs in the field. The result is still confusion, wasted time, duplicate or erroneous entries of notes or units that admins will need to override and fix anyway. The main idea of the app should be organization and its failing in that aspect. > > This is definitely a step up from organizing physical work orders or time sheets, or even utilizing different digital file sources. It’s nice to have an all in one solution. I haven’t personally tried other similar software, but I imagine there are vastly superior options out there. Knowing my employer, this is likely the cheapest option.
