What I liked most about Genius ERP system was that it has easy access to export/import to excel.

What I like least is the accessibility to Tech Support.

The team that helped us implement the software helped us customize the software to fit our company and best industry practices. We are really happy with the work flow of this software.

Integration was easy and the flow is great. I do wish the software had the ability to allow at lease an administrator to delete or Undo transactions that were accidentally confirmed or the ability to at lease minimally edit confirmed transactions (Dates, Text, different fields, ETC.)

Easy to navigate, comprehensive data collection and analysis.

Some fields are not readily searchable, or smart. Many softwares today allow you start typing and it knows what you are looking for - making recommendation or gray line filling in so you can simply hit enter.

Documentation and the invoicing capabilities with Genius ERP are useful and the inventory management is perfect and through its features its very simple managing multiple projects financial data. Easy creating clean reports and the access control features response its cost effective and easy on project time management.

Helpful Accounting tool and the performance its good and i really have nothing to underline from all the Genius ERP functionalities.

The financial analytics obtaining using Genius ERP features and the Bills of Materials capability and reports preparation Genius ERP is effective.Production scheduling and the Construction project planning and estimates creation with Genius ERP is more profitable.

ERP solution which has easiest financial data management tools with no error found to report or even performance issue.

Very User-Friendly, it's really intuitive to use and I appreciate it.

Having a bit more normalized terms between each transaction would help a lot, and I think the accounting side is not the greatest... could be improved.

I was able to customize most of data entry fields. It is easy to use and set up across the enterprise. The customer support team was proactive and ready to offer any assistance when contacted.

I have not experienced any operational challenges after deployment.

It helped us reduce clutter to bring all information in a single user-friendly system. With helpe of Genius ERP, we were able to integrate our time keeping and link it with with accounts, quotes, scheduling, Invoicing etc. improving overall production planning.

There is a lot of scope of improvement with its interface, customisation is very limited. This will help to fully link our costs to the product/job.

Out of the box this was suited for a high mix low volume manufacturing business. The API provides excellent functionality for integrating with our internal applications .

The integration between Engineering (Solidworks) and ERP. It makes it seamless to keep both ERP and the 3D model metadata in sync.

It is very cumbersome to adjust work orders that have been already released.

This is the most user-friendly ERP I have ever worked with. It reduced my use of spreadsheets for planning, it automates reports and it is very flexible for changes. I have worked with big ERPs before like SAP, and this is by far much more flexible and easier to use.

Support should be more personal. Maybe a chat function or direct phone number would be best. All they have is communication by email.

Custom reports are hard to set up. Included reports are too basics.

All our process are now connected and in the same place.

We had to customize a lot BUT it was easy to do it with the team!

Genius ERP software developpers really helped us by programming custom macros.
There is no limit to customization.

Unresolved bugs and enhancement request about speed slows down the workflow.
Sometimes they should test more new features before launching.

The features related to job costing suited our needs well.

Genius does not communicate the features provided in new releases to encourage upgrades. It would be nice to be kept up to date on this.
Often there could be better testing performed prior to a release. We often have had issues following a release.

usability is not bad, but I think could be improved. Having quicker search options would be nice as well.

Production planning and allocation of raw materials to jobs

Not being able to charge the time and cost of our production employees to jobs.

The low cost of annual license (compare to SAP or ORACLE) is the best argument to use Genius as we Don't have budget to use more expensive Tools like SAP or ORACLE.

It's very hard in Genius to follow inventory movements with custom reports with all relevant information in exportable format (Excel). For exemple, in SAP there is a transaction MB51 that is so usefull to produce custom reports to follow items with many parameters.

the underlying structure of the software was thoroughly scrutinized by our company auditor, something we failed to do on a previous software that we purchased. Their confidence allowed us to 'trust' Genius and really dig-in to make it work across our company departments. Genius is good on visuals as well as text.

scheduling fractures operation time, sometimes into seconds, split over a dozen different moments or even days?
not enough smart-tags or hyperlink functions; I have to keep 8 different pages open all the time to get complete information.
