Very easy to set up and use, great customer service. Quick and easy to learn.

Indexers. Invisible trolls that come with the software who go in, pull the invoices and assign them where they want, so there may be invoices in random queues that are paid late, unless you check the random queues often.

Overall I have loved my experience with Avid. I have used a plethora of AP processing platforms and by far Avid has been the most reliable and easy to use platform. I still have to use others and I dread it far more then when I know I have to process invoices on Avid. I would recommend this platform to anyone in my industry.

-Uploading/Sending invoices to AVID is less than 24 hours
-Invoicing History is always available and goes back more than 1 year which can be helpful
-Header and distribution lines are easy to use
-Codes pull from our chart of accounts making the coding process painless
-Save and approval are very easy

-Invoice feed does not separate invoices per property they are all mixed in with each and cannot be organized on our end. This makes it difficult when you are coding per one chart of accounts and then have to switch to another when the next invoice is a different property.
-Header dollar amount line when changed does not reflect in line item and creates an extra step to adjust amount in multiple places adding time to coding

I do not like Avid Pay. One vendor called them and tried to change payment methods and Avid Pay customer support told them they should be charging us 5% more on invoices to make up for the usage fee from them.

Majority of the time payments are not processed in a timely manner and vendors are constantly calling asking where their payment is.

Much Needed Platform!

I believe the user-friendliness and the weigh lifting it does on our Accounting department is what I most like about AvidXchange. It is easy to use and easy to navigate through the site. Also, the Avid Utilities feature is definitely a must have, that way you don't have to worry about getting late fees on your utility bills.

I don't have any cons at this moment. I believe in continuous improvement and finding new and better ways to make the product more valuable. I believe AvidXchange is doing a good job so far. One item that would be good to add is to provide more training support and to have a more broad communication to the people who have access, especially when the system is encountering technical issues.

Vendors no longer have to provide you with paper copies of invoices that get sent in, the vendors can send their own invoices in and they can be approved through the dashboard. AvidXchange allows our company to process payments easily and conveniently.

I do not really have any complaints about AvidXchange. I think that there could be improvements on the Dashboard, but not a complaint.

I'm not a "tech" person and don't particularly like learning new programs and products. However, Avid was easy to learn and use. It is easy to search and find invoices, process them, keep track of payments. You can make comments, add extra files etc. It does everything we need it to do.

Easy to learn and use. I was brought on part-time to help the team and was able to learn the program within very little assistance. Everything is self-explanatory and easy to use.

Avid is user friendly and makes coding and approving invoices a simple process. The search feature for looking up invoices is easy to use and allows you to find historical information quickly.

There isn't anything that I find difficult about Avid. I've used it at several different companies that I have worked for and whenever I find out they use Avid for AP, I am pleased because I know it will be easy to use.

The response and help during our initial start up with [sensitive content hidden] was fantastic; it was after help let us go to normal channels is where I lost my faith with getting help. Just this week I put in an URGENT email to support and still have not heard back.

Duplicate invoices and approval process, managers are very confused by this and can not move forward with out accounting deleting invoice first, which is causing problems. Strongroom and Caliber do not all ways integrate.
